Title of work - Orange Flower

How the Shapers were used:
I also enclose a painting (35x90cm) done very fast in Sennelier and W&N oilbars, which are almost my favourite paints. I used a soft pointed shaper and my old grey chisel to push the colour around and do the contours. I also signed my name very discreetly with the pointed one!!

I find shapers absolutely indispensable for prima oil-painting (for people in a hurry), and especially good for dealing with the opulence of oilbars painting worked straight onto the canvas.

I add a little Schminke Mussini Medium No.7 sometimes, depending on whether the texture is to be smooth or rough. Shapers are also kind to the hands in two ways: you can use them instead of fingers with the oilbars (very messy), and you can clean them instantly with kitchen paper and re-use them.
